These Death Knights or DKs as they are known don’t have a shield but are equipped with some great skills. Being a Death Knight requires one to have crossed the 55+ level of your character on your account. However one can create only one Death Knight per sever.
The Death Knights start their quest with a full set of green gear. The initial few quests will help the Death Knight get the Runblade, the choice of weapon that Death Knights prefer. At the 58th level and when 49 points are acquired, the Dark Knight receives a set of high quality of blue gear. The weapons that a death Knight can use are swords, maces, axes and polearms.
Death Knights are characters that who have no shields therefore it is important to keep them alive. It’s mandatory to have the right attitude and that’s what is needed to keep the Death Knights healthy and going. A good Death Knight is one who works on that one talent that will help him fight the war. The Warcraft has three talent trees that the Death Knight can be trained in. Arms, Fury and Protection are the three talent trees. However, the Arms talent tree is basically for the PvP users. It is also necessary to keep up the rage. This would mean having to deal with taking and giving rage and also the abilities of giving rage. Having the right gear to fight is also equally important.
The player should keep his eyes open for gear that provides strength, stamina and attack power. Before one gets into specialising talents it’s most important to choose the type of the race. There are two types of race options namely Alliance and Horde. Both the race types have their own pros and cons. In the Alliance type of the race, one gets a 10% to gain reputation. This type also has a 5+ rating in swords and maces, and also gives access to a special skill namely Perception.
This skill allows the Death Knight to see the druids before they can attack you. This type of race also has the stoneform for the dwarves which awards 8sec of immunity from bleed, disease and poison. It increases armour by 10% and gives resistance from frost. They also have the racial healing spell. Any warrior who can help heal someone or himself can get an advantage called the Heal over Time advantage (HoT). The Horde type of race is also good when it comes to PvP users.
Whatever the case the Death Knights are one of the most sought after characters in the World of Warcraft. Though the Death Knights have limited abilities and no shields they are equipped to fight it all with their skills. Hence enhancing the skills of Death Knights is also important.
